Continental Tires deployed a team that used a laser measuring device to gather tire tread data from automobiles, such as those driven by support personnel, at multiple points along the 2020 Tour de France bike course. Continental needed a digital solution that complied with EU GDPR data regulation by allowing vehicle owners to provide their contact information and explicitly consent to data usage with a signature.

At the 2020 Tour de France, 1,300 people signed Continental's custom frevvo form. The data collected was then sent to vehicle owners to provide them with important safety information. Tire Safety Diagnosis allowed the Continental team to confirm people were driving with good tires and alert those driving with used tires that action was needed, helping to avoid accidents.
